SJPSC Administrators attend DICES Admin Assembly

SJPSC Administrators actively participated in the DICES Administrators’ Assembly last July 24, 2023, held at St. Michaels Institute of Bacoor (SMI). The said assembly aimed at “fostering a culture of unfailing solidarity, harmony, and shared leadership among all the members of DICES schools’ administrative councils.”

               The said assembly was headed by the Office of the Superintendent of Diocesan Schools (OSDS) and was attended by the school directors of different school clusters Rev. Fr. Ariel Delos Reyes, Fr. Antonio Perez, Jr., Rev. Fr. Jerry Belen, Rev. Fr. Dominador Duroy, Jr., and Rev. Fr. Teodoro Bawalan, and the administrative councils from the different DICES member schools.

               The assembly commenced with the opening liturgy led by Mr. Enrico V. Macaranas. The recitation of DICES Mission and Vision was then led by Mr. Ralph Robert Alalay, followed by the welcoming remarks given by Mrs. Florencia M. Cerro, school principal of SMI.

               DICES Superintendent Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo discussed the “Admin Council Model” during the “Dialogue with the Superintendent.”

               Aside from the said dialogue with the Superintendent, the following activities were accomplished by the attendees:

• Small group Sharing
• Open Forum
• Cluster Sharing
• Cluster reporting

All the administrative councils from the different DICES schools actively engaged in all activities, which helped them understand how they would empower and nurture themselves mentally and spiritually in order to deliver better service and leadership as the administrators.
