SJPSC personnel holds In-Service Training

SJPSC personnel took part in the In-Service Training held at Saint Joseph Parochial School of Cavite last August 7, 8, and 9, 2023. The said training was aimed at empowering and equipping the members of the SJPSC workforce with knowledge they need to prepare for the new school year and to deliver quality Catholic education to the learners.

During the first day of the said In-service Training on August 7, 2023, the following topics were discussed by: Mrs. Edengrace B. Austria.

• Essential Marks of a Catholic School
• History of the School
• Vision and Mission of School and DICES
• Organizational Chart
• Introduction of Personnel, Salary Step, Benefits and Privileges, SOP on leaves, school uniforms, Proper grooming, on school reporting, absences, and Tardiness
• HR/Registrar- Office Membership

The second day of the training, led by Mrs. Anna Lorraine Balberde, Mrs. Peñafrancia Mojica and Ms. Avelina C. Caisip was held on August 8, 2023. The topics discussed in the second day of the training were as follows:

• CVIO- Prayer for the School- Personnel, Christian Formation, Basic Prayers, and Rosary
• OSA- Club Moderatorship, Revised Student Handbook, Conduct and Discipline Policy
• PP- Waste Management Program, Requisition Process and Forms, Room Assignment of Teachers

The final day of the In-set Training, which was conducted on August 9, 2023, was facilitated by Mrs. Michelle B. Nuestro who explained the following topics:

• OCI- DICES Curriculum Materials
• System of Learning Plan Preparation and Templates
• Guidelines in Conducting Face to Face Classes
• Guidelines in Conducting PTC
• Guidelines in Test Construction
• Guidelines in Administration of Summative Test
• Guidelines in Administering Performance Tasks
• Sharing of Instructional Strategies
• Peer Mentoring

All the members of the SJPSC personnel came together to attend the event as one community of faith and solidarity.
